THE PREMISE: A homeless vigilante blows away crooked cops, pedophile Santas, and other scumbags with his trusty pump-action shotgun. Street justice will indeed prevail. Based on a fake trailer made for the ‘Grindhouse’ film by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
This movie is allot eating a sugar-free chocolate-chip cookies. They look good. They seem to have all the makings of a good cookie, but they just don’t taste good. You’d think a grind-house style vigilante film about shotgun wielding hobo sending scumbags to hell, ‘one shell at time’, would be recipe for success, but unfortunately it’s not.
THE REVIEW: This movie is dialed up to SADISTIC. It’s filled with wall to wall blood and guts, horror-like violence, and rediculous action you come to love in a grind house film, but the only problem is not very enjoyable Unlike movies like Planet Terror, Death Proof or even Machete, Hobo With a Shotgun is almost completely devoid of a sense of humor. It’s a revenge movie that’s pretty much one note that’s basically a one-trick poney; KILL KILL KILL, and get pretty old… pretty fast. I wanted to like this movie but I really don’t.

- Excessive violent is not the same as quality entertainment
- This movie is super sick and super wrong
VERDICT: A vapid, gore movie that would been better if it was 5 minute you tube video.
